Medical Billing Specialist jobs in Missouri

SMB Medical Billing is growing and is seeking an experienced medical billing specialist. Must have at least one year medical billing experience.

Excellent communication, professionalism and ability to multitask are a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Billing medical insurance using a computerized billing program.
• Send appeals to insurance companies with appropriate documentation.
• Enter billing charges, ICD-10 codes.
• Answer billing inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Payment posting.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of medical billing with working experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with HIPAA
• Knowledge of podiatry billing is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
