Full-Cycle Medical Biller
FULL CYCLE MEDICAL BILLING

Primary Responsibilities:

• Payment posting of insurance and patient payments.
• Actively working and researching claim denials and contacting payers for timely payment resolution.
• Work accounts receivable and file claims appeals.
• Answering phones and assisting patients with their billing concerns.
• Communicate areas of concern with regards to client issues, payer issues, denials, etc. to manager.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year office experience/medical billing experience
• Must be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. Must be able to use multiple computer screens to work.
• Reliable and hard-working candidate that can work independently, as well as be a productive team player.
• Understand and follow HIPAA guidelines.

*Preferred but not required:

-Knowledge and understanding of full cycle medical billing, including appeals, diagnosis linkage issues, modifiers, NCCI, global periods, understanding the different reasons/ways to appeal denied claims.

-Have in depth knowledge of most insurance carriers, working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.

- Bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Main Office hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5 pm.

Job Type: Full/Part-time (BENEFITS ONLY AVALAIBLE FOR FULL TIME)

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
