Join our growing, established practice as we celebrate 21 years of being a locally and privately owned medical practice specializing in General Dermatology, Mohs skin cancer surgery, and Aesthetic Dermatology. Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery is looking for a full time Billing Coordinator. This is a 4 1/2 day per week position with no evenings or weekend shifts. We are looking for a professional candidate who is team-oriented, friendly, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are required.

Job Summary: File clean insurance claims, post reimbursement from insurance payers and patients, follow-up on unpaid claims, prepare estimates for patients needing procedures, answer billing questions from patients and staff, post patient and insurance refunds, and daily office deposit.

Physical demands: On-site at our Asheville and Hendersonville locations; must be able to remain stationary at desk, sitting at workstation for long periods of time; read & view computer screen for long periods of time; must be able to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers; constantly operates a computer; use telephone effectively. Move about practice as necessary, light lifting < 10lbs.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma, Associate degree preferred.
