Platte River Medical Clinic is looking for excellent, compassionate individuals to continue their medical career with us!

What you’ll be doing:

• Greets patients and prepares them for Practitioner examination, screens, collects vital signs and enters them into the EMR, instructs patients in collection of samples and/or tests.
• Performs designated clinical duties as delegated by Clinic Manager or Physician to include injections, instillations, catheter changes, etc.
• Responsible for injections, phlebotomy, setting up and assisting with procedures, nebulizers, and EKGs.
• Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
• Maintains clinical inbox which include patient communications, Rx refills, referrals, and results. 
• Performs any other duties that assist in the operations of the office.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Basic Life Support Certification (CPR & AED)
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures
• Ability to accurately measure blood pressure and vitals signs
• Phlebotomy/Injections
• Experience using electronic medical records software
• Ability to follow established protocols

Shifts: Full-time is 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and

experience.

Specialized Training:

Medical Assistant Training

Certificates and Licenses:

Medical Assistant License or Certification

CPR certification
