Media Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding research and development of media plans, identifying target audience and ideal media outlets. Approves media mix and frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives. Being a Media Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Media Supervisor relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. SUMMARY
The Supervisor, Fare Media Services provides administrative support and supervisory oversight to Fare Media Services operations and staff with latitude for independent judgement and action within established policy, regulations and guidelines. The Supervisor, Fare Media Services develops, plans and coordinates activities within the department to include maintaining adequate fare media stock inventories, efficient distribution, ensuring sales outlets are properly served, directs Metrorail redemption, and maintains custody of the Authority's Imprest funds. The incumbent reports directly to the Manager of Fare Media Services.
