About Black Prism Gallery:
Black Prism Gallery is a vibrant, seasonal pop-up art space opening the first week of May and running tentatively through the end of August at the Wrentham Village Outlets. Known for its immersive, glow-in-the-dark art installations and hands-on art experiences, we invite visitors to not only appreciate but also actively engage in creating their very own art.

Job Summary:
We are seeking two managers to oversee the daily operations of our experiential gallery. This role is perfect for artists with management experience and a strong background in painting or drawing. Managers will engage directly with guests, may be required to step in and lead hourly guided painting classes, and ensure a memorable visitor experience for guests of all ages & abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive one hour prior to opening to prepare the gallery and stay to lock up each night.
• Oversee and participate in daily operations, ensuring an engaging guest experience.
• Lead glow-paint classes and assist in various art activities including freestyle glow painting, light peg art creations, and painted stacked mandala art.
• Provide hands-on guidance and support to staff and guests in art-making processes.
• Oversee staff and ensure smooth operation during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Proven management experience, preferably in a gallery, retail, or similar setting.
• Strong artistic skills, specifically in painting and drawing strongly preferred, although not required for applying.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to lead painting classes and provide active assistance to staff and guests.
• Availability to work every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as per hours listed on our website, BlackPrismGallery.com (please account for an extra hour before and a few minutes after each night when reviewing the calendar on our homepage).

Other Opportunities:

• BOLD Media, the owner/operator of Black Prism Gallery, operates a number of seasonal events including Hollowed Harvest, Holiday Light Show, Lights on Ice and other experiential events. Successful candidates in this role may be invited to participate in other subsequent events later in the year. Employment in Black Prism Gallery does not guarantee an employment offer for other BOLD Media events.
