Manager of Media Relations proactively promotes Tulane University faculty, research, staff, donors, students, programs, grants and initiatives in ways that advance the University’s reputation as one of America’s leading research universities among national, international, regional and local media. A member of the News and Media Relations team and reporting to the Director of Media Relations within University Communications and Marketing (UCM), Manager assumes regular and substantial contact with the public, media and members of the University community. Manager must have a good working knowledge of communications methods and platforms; be highly organized and detail-oriented; and possess the ability to manage numerous assignments simultaneously and adjust to unscheduled developments requiring immediate attention.
