Media Program Director directs and coordinates activities of broadcast and programming personnel. Provides supervision of Program Case Managers and the guests of the St. Francis House. Ensures the delivery of quality services, including documentation and communication of the status of our programs internally and with community partners.
Primary Duties:
1. Manages and audits guest accounts to ensure financial integrity.
2. Addresses the needs of guests in a timely, thorough, and courteous manner.
3. Serves as liaison and advocates for and assists guests with issues involving governmental and other social service agencies and programs.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Position requires flexibility in schedule with the majority of hours between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Some overnight and weekend availability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor Degree in Human Relations, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field preferred.
· Minimum of two years’ experience in implementing and coordinating a variety of programs serving culturally homeless populations required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
· Demonstrated leadership skill and understanding of social service delivery system and the culture of poverty is essential. Proficient computer skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversees guests are welcomed into our home and their intake is completed in a timely manner from their arrival.
2. Provide direct support to the Program Case Managers, by meeting with them on a regular basis and providing directions on how best to provide services to the guests on their caseloads.
3. Be accountable for Program Case Managers turning in reports, case notes, guests’ financial forms and other items accurately and by assigned deadlines.
4. Assist with working with agency partners to provide a collaborate approach to serving our guests.
