    The Mental Health Program Director will oversee Front Desk and DFCS Billing operations within Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Directs the day-to-day operations of Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. DFCS program and implements Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. programmaticand administrative policies and procedures.
    • Supervises the front desk staff, evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for human resources actions to the CEO.
    • Makes sure all tasks are completed before or by deadlines outlined by CEO.
    • Supervise the front desk to make sure all cases are assigned and entered in the EMR System according to policy.
    • Reports to directly to the CEO weekly or as needed.

    Duties

    • Implements Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. programmatic and administrative policies and procedures.
    • Attend all DFCS Meetings and update policies and procedures accordingly.
    • Make sure all contractors and staff are in compliance as it relates to DHS.
    • Oversees quality assurance to make sure all services are assigned according to Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. policies and procedures.
    • Provide oversight and direction for necessary reports for daily operations and follow to make sure action is taken and completed when necessary.
    • Take personal responsibility to make all task are completed by front desk staff members.
    • Ability to be a team player to step in and help when needed.
    • Provide training to staff members.
    • Oversees the front desk productivity to meet established standards and to ensure continuity of care in our clients.
    • Coordinates communication with other service components of Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. and outside agencies involved with our clients.
    • Complete presentations on behalf of Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. to stakeholders to inform them of the services that we provide within the community.
    • Oversee on-call and follow up to make sure that authorization are obtained for services provided prior to billing.
    • Utilize discretion when prioritizing tasks to the front desk staff.
    • Adheres to the CEO guidelines and Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, Inc. policies and procedures.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Clinical expertise in crisis intervention, skills in working with and in the Mental Health population, and with individuals undergoing acute episodes of psychiatric distress.
    • Ability to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and to represent the agency in the community.
    • Skills in supervising, evaluating, and disciplining staff of professionals and paraprofessionals.
    • Familiarity with community support systems, health care and human service resources, etc.
    • Good organizational skills and administrative abilities.
    • Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics.

    Education and Experience:

    • Master’s degree in Business Management or Mental Health required.
    • At least three to five years of professional experience in the mental health or human services fields required with at least three years at the supervisory level preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
