Media Program Director directs and coordinates activities of broadcast and programming personnel. Responsible for scheduling programs and event coverage, coordinating with other departments, working with directors and production staff, and assessing length and content of broadcasts. Being a Media Program Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Program Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. MCD is seeking an Assistant Director, Visual Media to play a vital role in producing innovative video content and web-based assets in support of institutional goals. You will bring creativity and expertise in photography, design, animation, and video editing. You must be someone who is energized by working with a highly collaborative Development Communications team where everyone’s input is valued. Experience working with contractors and delegating work across multiple media deliverables is essential. You will have flexibility to determine the best course of action for a given project while being challenged to produce and deliver a variety of quality creative materials, on time and on budget. In this role, you will report to and be a thought partner for the Director of Development Communications.
Beyond photography, videography, and motion graphics, you should have an interest in and affinity for effective storytelling. A successful candidate will bring a combination of creative communication skills and technical knowledge to enhance the team, our processes, and output.

The expected pay range for this position is $106,000 to $133,000 per annum.
