Media Production Manager jobs in Sunnyvale, CA
Media Production Manager manages the planning and execution of the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web broadcasts, shows or videos. Ensures pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling are completed. Being a Media Production Manager engages and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Coordinates the team of production technical specialists for camera, sound, and lighting for each production. Additionally, Media Production Manager facilitates post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Media Production Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Media Production Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Collaborate with producers to understand project scope, objectives and creative vision.
Edit raw video into polished videos with smooth transitions, audio synchronization and quality output.
Proficient and coordinating and organizing video footage, audio files and other multimedia assets.
Proficient in using video editing software such as Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Solid knowledge of video codecs, formats, and exporting processes to ensure optimal video quality and Compatibility.
Advanced knowledge with motion graphics, transitions, animation, audio effects, visual effects and color corrections.
Proficient and coordinating and organizing video footage, audio files and other multimedia assets.
Ensure that videos adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications.
Review and select best footage for supporting b-roll to create a compelling narrative.Mandatory Areas
Skill 1 Advanced knowledge in using video editing software such as Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
