Media Production Manager jobs in Olive Branch, MS

NICHOLAS AIR has an immediate need for an experienced Media Content Manager. This position is an executive-facing position that takes ownership of the brand’s outward media, video, and photographic branding across a variety of platforms, including website, social media, national news programming, and marketing campaigns. This position will allow the candidate to expand their comfort zone and engage in projects that are rare to find and even rarer to experience. The ideal person for this role identifies as a creative and a self-starter, thinks proactively, and is capable of consistently producing and presenting new/updated production, photography, and videography ideas. This person has experience developing ad content, managing ad schedules, and meeting deadlines. The Media Content Manager is a full-time position based out of the corporate office in Oxford, Mississippi.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly manages the company's visual media program inclusive of all brands under the corporate umbrella
• Responsible for concept creation, to production, and editing of corporate visual assets across all forms of media
• Evaluate project schedules, define budget constraints, and determine design requirements for company-produced creative deliverables.
• Work directly with marketing peers and management team to produce final design
• Create customized digital, social, and other media pieces to use across all marketing platforms
• Work closely with Senior Management to develop and implement creative strategy across new projects as needed
• Successful candidates will be involved immediately in upcoming marketing and advertising campaigns, content creation, layout design for print and video projects
• May be asked to perform other duties or assignments as new opportunities arise
• Additional assignments may be given by leadership in support of the full portfolio of companies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of Creative and Graphic Design experience required*
• 3-5 years of Creative, Photo, and Video Production/Design experience required*
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year, accredited college or university strongly preferred
• Part 107 licensed operator with experience in aerial photography and videography strongly preferred
• Experience in WordPress and Website content management preferred
• Travel and/or luxury industry experience strongly preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Project Management skillset with the ability to set and meet both internal and external deadlines strongly preferred
• Time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once based on the current requirements of the role strongly preferred
• Excellent oral/written communication – Comfortable communicating with peers and management about projects and deadlines, can produce basic ad copy and has problem-solving skills
• Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition is required
• Practical knowledge of Photography principles, e.g. flash, portraiture, product, and landscape photography is required
• Strong understanding of a Video Production Environment with technical skills in lighting, location sound, camera operations, and teleprompter function is required
• Pre-Production planning skills such as scripting, storyboarding, shot-list development, etc. as required per project.
• Cross-functional / Cross-Collaborative Team experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• This position is required to report daily to Oxford, MS Headquarters.
• Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
