Media Production Manager manages the planning and execution of the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web broadcasts, shows or videos. Ensures pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling are completed. Being a Media Production Manager engages and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Coordinates the team of production technical specialists for camera, sound, and lighting for each production. Additionally, Media Production Manager facilitates post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Media Production Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Reporting to the Director of Software Quality Assurance, the IT Business Analyst is a member of the Information Technology team for RB Media. RB Media is the leading Audiobook publisher globally. The Business Analyst is responsible for documenting business requirements and testing IT solutions in support of our customer facing platforms. In this capacity, the IT Business Analyst is responsible for facilitating requirements gathering, documenting requirements, providing analysis support and facilitating Agile meetings with the Development team, and validating that solutions deliver the expected outcomes.
This position focuses on key business applications, both custom developed and off-shelf technologies. Primarily this position will collaborate with business users in the Content Acquisitions functions of RB Media. The position is located in Old Saybrook CT, but may require occasional travel.
