Media Production Manager manages the planning and execution of the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web broadcasts, shows or videos. Ensures pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling are completed. Being a Media Production Manager engages and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Coordinates the team of production technical specialists for camera, sound, and lighting for each production. Additionally, Media Production Manager facilitates post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Media Production Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Media Production Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description 

    Content Strategy, Social Media Management; and Content Creation / Production:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms, overseeing platform management, audience engagement, campaigns, and promotions.
    • Planning & Scheduling: Manage the social media calendar and daily posting and moderation of all social networks, including (but not limited to) Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
    • Creative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas and concepts to support brand initiatives with focus on editorial storytelling, influencers, and consumer engagement.
    • Excellent team player: Partner with creative and field teams to manage, connect, and collaborate with influencers, content creators and brand partners. Work with cross-functional teams to align on product stories and support business needs.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Review post performance and make recommendations on creative, copy, and overall strategy. Create weekly, monthly, and campaign-based reports.
    • Social listening: engage, write, and post to communities with the established brand voice and in a brand-responsible tone.
    • Content Creation & Production: Work alongside creative and field teams to create new and innovative content for brand and overall marketing initiatives that aligns with the brand's values and aesthetic.  Need to have capabilities to create strong organic and paid content for social channels.  

    Goals & Deliverables

    In this role, you will be responsible for growing and optimizing our social media presence by developing a platform strategy and monitoring engagement metrics. Managing content strategy, quality, volume, and consistency will also be part of your responsibilities, including overseeing and guiding the creation of relevant on-trend content. You will develop a community management and engagement action plan to foster social media growth, tracking follower growth, engagement rates, and sentiment analysis. You will manage content deliverables for data-driven social media advertising and measure ROI, lead generation, and e-commerce sales. Additionally, you will help to grow, teach and engage our field team on social media posting and engagement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
    • 6 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts.
    • Experience in communication roles and direct selling business is a plus 
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and timelines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to plan content, write, and post to communities with the established brand voice.
    • Conception to completion mindset.
    • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Proficient with social in app creation and production, photography, videography, and video editing.
    • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other content creation app experience is a plus.
    • While this role is primarily remote, availability to frequently work onsite at our Napa winery and estate is required.
