JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketing strategies across various digital platforms involving many different customer profiles to increase brand awareness. You will engage with our customers, sales team, and supporting business development. You will be responsible for developing and managing marketing materials including social media platforms, creating compelling content, and analyzing data to optimize performance.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our brand, products, and services across all relevant channels.
- Develop and execute marketing projects in support of new products and specific sales goals.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our social media accounts, including but not limited to content creation, community engagement, paid social ads, and audience growth.
- Create engaging and compelling content for newsletters and social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
- Analyze social media metrics and track the effectiveness of campaigns, using data to optimize strategies and achieve marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to ensure consistency in brand messaging and alignment of marketing efforts.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate, and improve our marketing efforts.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns across various platforms, optimizing budget allocation and targeting to maximize ROI.
- Provide reports and presentations to the sales team and management, summarizing key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain and communicate corporate marketing calendar, scheduling corresponding social media and campaign efforts
OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES
- Analyze web traffic for data that can be used to improve customer experience
- Manage and report on marketing budget
- Ensure website complies with current online regulations (PCI) for credit card handling and processing
- Maintain compliance of newsletter activities regarding increasing SPAM regulations set by Gmail
- Control marketing spending to ensure company profitability.
TRANSACTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
- Maintain website and product content stored on website
- Build and maintain optimized website SEO
- Design and maintenance of product data sheets, product catalogs, tradeshow designs, newsletters, and customer events displays
- Participate in customer meetings, sales meetings, and tradeshows
- Monitor online sales and review analytics data to improve online sales
- Interaction with CRM as a marketing tool
- Negotiate favorable rates for campaigns
- Grow relationships with customers and vendors
- Coach / educate non-marketing staff in marketing and social media actions to build customer insight and leads for growth
- Build business partnerships and relationships with networkers/influencers in the industry from cross-promotional opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience with CRM
- Solid working knowledge of online search marketing, specifically search engine optimization and organic search marketing.
- Ability to professionally interact with customers in a public setting
- Marketing experience, including online marketing, SEO, and e-commerce.
- New products or services launch in a B2C or B2B environment.
- Developing and analyzing survey results using SurveyMonkey or similar
- Preferred, not an absolute requirement, understanding of concepts and terminology related to the use of water, soil as a medium for crop production, meteorological events, and data communication.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
