Location Services seeks Senior Manager of Product Development to define enterprise level applications needed by Location Services. Lead the team of Product Owners and work with Engineering and Technology Services teams to solve complex problems. Interface directly with all the Location Services operational team leaders, take their input, and provide solutions to them. Manage the software development life cycle for all the enterprise applications. Create User Stories that address concrete business needs. Interact with end users and developers to define features. Participate with Engineering team in defining architecture and technical design of internal systems. Ship regular releases through a streamlined process. Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the software development process. Perform software systems testing with a focus on procedures and programming. Conduct root cause analysis of problems and provides resolution. Perform complex quality checks. Lead demo sessions for end users. Provide input on processes and technology improvement. Take ownership of self-built applications in order to assure quality delivery. Work with geographically distributed teams in a timely manner to complete assigned projects.
Qualified candidates must have a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies, or a foreign equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or a substantially similar position performing all of the following duties: utilize technologies and cloud API services, to develop software running on mobile, IoT and .NET; interact with end users and product owners to create features and user stories that address business needs; utilize the following software technologies: ASP.NET, C#, ENTITY Frame work, ADO.NET ,LINQ, HTML/CSS, SQL, JavaScript, Web Services including SOAP and REST, React JS, and TypeScript with React; assist in defining the architecture and technical design of internal systems; assist in launching software; apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the software development process; perform software systems testing with a focus on procedures and programming; conduct root cause analysis of problems and provide resolution; perform complex software quality checks; provide input on processes and technology improvement; take ownership of self-built applications in order to assure quality delivery; work with teams in a timely manner to complete assigned projects.
