Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - Social media engagement and interaction on clients' social media accounts.
- Occasionally assist with weekly content ideation and creation for client blogs and social media posts.
- Occasionally schedule weekly posts using agency scheduling tools.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Schedule:- Monday- remotely 9 AM-1 PM.
- Tuesday - in-office 9 AM - 1 PM.
- Wednesday - in-office 9 AM - 1 PM.
- Thursday - in-office 9 AM - 1 PM.
- Friday - remotely 9 AM - 1 PM.
- With the opportunity of more hours as time progresses.
Ideal candidates MUST possess the following:- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of all key social media platforms (at least 1 year prior experience); including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, TikTok. Creative, energetic, and always thinking proactively and out of the box.
- Reliable, timely, and honest. Organized, self-disciplined, and task-oriented.
- Must have a portable high-speed laptop.
Other qualifications:- Marketing and/or social media experience/internships preferred, not required.
Compensation/ Benefits:- $16-$17 per hour.
