Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - Successfully prospect new clients and close new advertisers utilizing multimedia campaign strategies.
- Understand and know how to consult within the digital landscape from managed services, such as SEO, SEM, to outreach digital marketing including tactics such as streaming audio, CTV/OTT, and other programmatic services
- Manage your book of business to both renew and grow current advertisers
- Lead the setup and execution of campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
- Outline and oversee a measurement strategy with results delivery both internally and externally.
- Stay informed on relevant media and advertising trends and innovative solutions to bring to your advertisers.
- Provide consultation and educate advertisers and agencies on best media product solutions and best practices to achieve results.
Here’s what we’re looking for:- A minimum of two years of sales experience.
- A proven track record of delivering strong and consistent sales growth while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience with digital media, attribution platforms, and advertising metrics.
- Experience with influencing decision-making with advertisers.
- Ensure the attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for presentation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
- The role requires an enthusiastic and hardworking person who exudes passion for Alpha Media’s unique platform and value proposition.
- This position requires a fully insured personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
