Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Our ideal Digital Media Planner must have agency experience and a track record for delivering smart, innovative, and performance-driven Digital campaigns. Responsibilities for this position include strategic planning, campaign execution and analysis, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with media vendors, clients and agency partners.
Media Planning & Execution:
Execute, manage and optimize online media campaigns that meet or surpass performance goals
Optimize and enhance campaign performance
Update and manage hundreds of ads in platform
Ad copywriting
Experience with lead gen campaign on LinkedIn
Research, plan, execute and manage performance reporting and analysis/optimization efforts for digital media campaigns that may include most or all the following: Google Search & Display and Social (Facebook/Instagram/Tiktok/LinkedIn) Media Ads.
Assist in developing tailored digital plans/strategy for clients/to client’s key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaign success.
Support implementation and execution of cross-channel media search and strategies.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client’s business and how to add value by identifying opportunities for growth, optimizing strategies, and delivering innovative solutions that drive success.
Collaborate effectively with creative and PR teams across diverse agency resources to deliver integrated solutions for multi-faceted client projects
Stay in the know with latest industry best practices and trends.
Assist with client media billing and invoice reconciliations
Required Qualifications:
2 years of hands-on-keyboard, in-platform experience, and currently active in-platform (including at least 1 year of agency experience)
2 years of experience with Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram.
Experience with B2B and LinkedIn are a plus
Knowledge/understanding of Google Analytics 4 is a super plus!
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced Excel skills)
Effective communicator with persuasive verbal and writing skills
