Being a Media Director negotiates client projects and develops client relationships. Ensures client budget and target audience is met. Additionally, Media Director may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Saving children.® Job Description As the Director of Media Activation & Measurement, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our fundraising efforts. You’ll lead the vision, execution, and optimization of ALASC’s Performance Marketing Media Activation team. Your primary focus will be on growing our fundraising initiatives by strategically managing digital and television paid media campaigns. Additionally, you’ll provide leadership and expertise to ensure the success of our performance media efforts across various channels. Media Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute media strategies across channels such as search, social, display, and TV/video. Optimize media campaigns to maximize impact and reach our fundraising goals. Stay abreast of emerging media trends and technologies. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for media setup and management. Coach team members and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive excellence in media execution. Industry Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry best practices in media buying approaches. Set new standards where needed to elevate our media activation efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative or analytical field. 10 years of experience in digital marketing strategies, advertising technologies, digital platforms, television advertising, measurement solutions, and expertise in building and leading teams Budget Management Expertise: Experience managing complex multi-channel annual advertising budgets above $100 million. Showcase your ability to allocate resources effectively across various channels, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI). Highlight any instances where you’ve successfully optimized budgets to achieve business goals. Digital Media Proficiency: Experience with Digital media buying platforms, including: Enterprise SEM Solutions: Demonstrate your expertise in search engine marketing (SEM) tools such as Google Ads and Bing Ads. Enterprise Demand Side Platforms (DSPs): Highlight your knowledge of programmatic advertising and real-time bidding. Enterprise Paid Social Platforms: Discuss your familiarity with social media advertising on platforms like Facebook Business Manager. Online Advertising Platforms: Mention your experience with various online ad platforms. Data Management & Customer Data Platforms: Emphasize your ability to leverage data for targeted campaigns. Analytics and Attribution Skills: Experience with channel mix decisions, attribution applications, and analytics tools, including: Digital Analytics Tools: Discuss your proficiency in tools like Google Analytics. Enterprise Tag Managers: Explain how you manage tracking tags efficiently. Campaign Tracking Tools: Highlight your ability to measure campaign performance. Multi-Touch-Attribution Tools: Showcase your understanding of attribution models. TV Attribution Solutions: If applicable, mention your knowledge of TV attribution. Enterprise Reporting and Data Visualization Solutions: Describe your experience in presenting data insights to stakeholders. User Journey Integration: Experience with integration of user journeys across media, email, and web experiences using: Enterprise Testing and Personalization Tools: Illustrate how you’ve optimized user experiences across channels. Project Management Skills: Experience with Atlassian JIRA (Project Management Tool): Highlight your ability to manage projects efficiently. Programmatic and Linear TV Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Programmatic inventory waterfall & supply path optimization: Discuss your understanding of programmatic ad buying and supply chain management. Expert knowledge of Linear TV environment: TV agency management & principles: Explain your familiarity with TV advertising agencies.
