The Masiello Group is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team. We are looking for a team player that is fun, hard-working, creative, highly organized and personable to work on multiple projects across departments and teams. The Social Media Coordinator will assist the marketing department with its social media initiatives and play an administrative team role. This role is very dynamic with room for growth, handling both the founder’s personal brand and our suite of companies' brands.  

This individual will be working in the South Portland office.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Execute a results-driven social media strategy for multiple entities in the real estate space as well as the thought leadership space for the Chris Masiello Brand.
• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Attend events, visit offices and produce live social media content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
• Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
• Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
• Work with the Marketing team to fulfill written content across other mediums.
• Understand the department's workflows and provide assistance where needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and/or 3-5 years of experience in marketing/creative role 
• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
• Advanced creative skills within Canva, experience with other creative design tools
• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills
• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
• Occasional travel may be required and travel within the NH, ME footprint
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and project management platforms
