Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Masis Professional Group is seeking a TEMPORARY BUYER for a local client in the Deerfield, MA area. This will be a contract role for approximately 3 months.
Monday through Friday 8AM-4PM
$24-$28/HR
SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the ideal candidates will initiate purchase of materials and supplies to maintain monthly production requirements; assist with contract negotiations; coordinate and expedites deliveries through ERP system and monitors inventory levels. Assist other buyers as required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Initiates purchase of materials and supplies according to approved requisitions, ERP or management.
· Administers ERP for new vendors and products.
· Places orders with vendors, monitors delivery and expedites orders as required.
· Initiates RFQ’s and analyzes quotations for management review.
· Reconciles inventory and invoices for the purpose of identifying discrepancies.
· Coordinates shipments with vendors to ensure monthly production requirements are met.
· Follows, maintains and enforces ISO standards and all compliance requirements.
· Verifies purchasing practices comply with established laws, policies, and ethical principles.
· Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
· Performs additional duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in office setting.
· Must have analytical ability and advanced math skills.
· Must have excellent communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and general knowledge of accounting principles.
· Must be a self-starter, reliable, be able to work on any assigned task, make logical decisions, and handle directions responsibly.
· Must be proficient in Excel, Word and have typing abilities.
· Must be eligible to receive information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree or 1- 3 years’ experience in a supply chain function.
· Working knowledge of ERP and contract negotiations.
