Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Summary: ITT BIW is looking for a Buyer to join their team in Santa Rosa, CA. The Buyer will work closely with the Operations and Planning team on daily purchasing functions. This positions is responsible for the purchase of materials, supplies and equipment for the Company, including coordinating outside services with suppliers and performing expedites and follow-up of existing purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of product. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting.
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree is preferred, APICS certification may be substituted
Minimum Experience: 3-7 years of experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing firm is required.
