Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Media Buyer will be responsible for the efficient and effective execution of ad buys including display, video, native, audio, search, social and OTT media. An individual in this position will have hands-on campaigns from launch through completion in various DSPs. They will analyze data from 1st and 3rd party sources to optimize campaign performance, test new set up processes, and generate valuable insights and recommendations for our clients. The Media Buyer will communicate regarding campaign issues, successes, and priorities to other teams and stakeholders at Digital Remedy. They should become a significant knowledge base as to the technical and practical aspects of campaign execution across all media channels.
