Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor supervises a crew performing routine preventive maintenance and safety inspection operations for a building or plant's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems. Follows a daily and weekly schedule to effectively assign maintenance and repair tasks and may use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order system to track work orders. Being a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor oversees preventive maintenance, repair, inspection, and calibration processes to identify wear, damage, or leaks, replace filters or belts, or apply lubrication to mechanical devices. Selects, schedules, and coordinates vendors and outside service providers for specialized repairs or maintenance projects. Additionally, Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor maintains a replacement and spare part inventory at required levels. Trains and coaches the team. Ensures all work and material handling follow established safety procedures and regulations. Experienced with facilities maintenance processes and may have completed a trade apprenticeship or technical training. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Preventative Maintenance Contract Coordinator oversees existing preventative maintenance service contracts to nurture long-term existing customer relationships while ensuring profitability, reliability, and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and monitor existing preventative maintenance service contracts, upcoming service dates, files, and contract terms, renewals, and expiration dates
Communicate professionally to demonstrate a clear understanding of the company's service and equipment offerings to instill confidence, loyalty, and trust in the customers
Provide reports to management regarding data, performance, status, completion rate, etc. of new contracts and existing contracts
Prepare renewal proposals to be reviewed and approved by management
Collaborate with service/finance department personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution, scheduling, conflict resolutions, and reporting/administration of service contracts
Ensure quality and compliance with contract terms and conditions to achieve customer satisfaction
Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information
Work with management to meet company goals and deliverables
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High School diploma or GED and two (2) years' experience with service contract administration, maintenance administration, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Verbal & written communication skills, HVACR/Plumbing/Mechanical experience, Attention to detail and organization, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, Ability to work as a team player
