Mechanical Engineering Supervisor jobs in Vermont

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has openings for a Mechanical Systems Supervisor/Plumber to join our team. This position oversees and executes the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating system equipment and fixtures. The successful candidate is responsible for helping to maintain the district’s buildings and supporting an environment that promotes learning, health, safety, and pride. 

Pay: $26.37 based on experience

On-the-job training is available!

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• High school education, plus 6 to 8 years of relevant technical training/experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Plumbers license
• Broad and in-depth knowledge and skills related to plumbing/heating system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Good general knowledge and skills related to mechanical systems functions, and building construction and repair.
• Ability to train and oversee the work of others.
• Hold or be eligible to hold a valid driver's license
