Job Description :
The Mechanical Department Manager, reporting to the Engineering Manager, will lead and develop direct reporting personnel, assure consistent application of client, industry and Nexus standards and collaborate with other Nexus technical and project leaders to improve process efficiency while consistently meeting project budget and delivery commitments.
The Mechanical Department Manager should be comfortable interfacing with clients, visiting clients’ facilities and performing physical work such as walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs / ladders.
The Mechanical Department Manager must demonstrate keen interpersonal, leadership, organizational and technical skills and have a thorough understanding of project management and controls practices.
