Job Description:
The Licensed Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design of all Mechanical aspects of facility/building systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) for buildings such as schools, colleges, medical and healthcare facilities, institutional facilities, office buildings, commercial and retail spaces, food service and hospitality industry, etc.
Manage technical challenges, and be responsible for business development and project proposals, technical reports, and project budgets.
The successful Candidate will:
Be responsible for the management and supervision of Mechanical designers/technicians to complete projects in a timely, cost-efficient manner for feasibility studies, actual design, developing/construction documents, and following projects through construction, start-up and beyond.
Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
Coordinate Mechanical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Licensed Professional Engineer.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the design of HVAC and Plumbing systems.
