Jackson Meat located in Hutchinson Kansas is hiring a full-time Meat Production Specialist for completing productions orders, following production schedules, ensuring production productivity, inventory, and assessing safety standards.

• Ensures products comply with all U.S. Department of Agricultures (USDA) guidelines.
• Ensures all safety and health standards are met to keep a company accident-free
• Evaluates equipment to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
• Ensures production goals are supported.
• Works wholesale production (grind burger, pork stew, patties, head meat)
• Boxes wholesale orders
• Checks and completes product inventory (frozen and fresh)
• Demonstrates knowledge of HAACP and works accordingly with inspectors.
• Identify, suggestion, and/or recommend new ideas for production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performs and ensures quality control and ensures workspace is kept sanitary.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in meat cutting, packaging, and food handling preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
