Maternity Services Director is responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-unit operations and staffing. POSITION(S) THAT REPORT TO YOU: Administrative/Meeting Manager, Communications/Membership Manager
EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE STATUS: Exempt (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week)
GENERAL SUMMARY:Closely monitors association activities and provides important decision-making information to association leadership. Provides professional direction and support for all client activities, projects, meetings and campaigns.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week):- Manage the grant/fundraising development for CSRO.
- Oversee implementation of strategic goals as directed by Board president.
- Oversee legal responsibilities of the organization (taxes, bylaws, contracts, etc.).
- Oversee financial activities, including payment of invoices, budget preparation, monthly financial records, annual audit, etc.
- Supervise day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the association.
- Oversee development and publication printed materials and other communications (broadcast emails, faxes, mail, etc.) to members.
- Oversee committee infrastructure and activities.
- Oversee maintenance and updates of the client website.
- Coordinate agendas and other materials for Board meetings and conference calls.
- Attend and facilitate in-person Board meetings.
- Attend and facilitate committee conference calls.
- Take and distribute minutes of Board and committee meetings and conference calls.
- Attend the Rheumatology Fellows education meeting and provide support and staff oversight for all related functions.
- Represent CSRO at related meetings when appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED:Approximately 15 days per year.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in a related field and excellent written and verbal skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:(lifting, packaging, etc.) Minimal lifting required. Ability to move quickly within meeting facilities.*This position is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role.*Please apply to the role that best aligns to your experience and qualifications.
