Maternity Services Director is responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-unit operations and staffing. Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery. Being a Maternity Services Director manages the departments operating budget and measures performance using standards established by the hospital. May direct community outreach programs to deliver women's health information and education. Additionally, Maternity Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires registered nurse (RN). The Maternity Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. About the Position: Under administrative direction the selected candidate will plan, organize, and direct adult addiction services that are provided, contracted, and certified by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. This position also provides leadership in the development of policies, procedures, and regulations; provides technical expertise to addiction services and programs; ensures and develops compliance for federal and state regulations as well as funding; acts as the addiction provider network liaison; prepare and deliver presentations; and supervise staff.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or a closely related field and five years of experience working in the addiction treatment field with at least two years of being in an administrative or supervisory position.
Preference may be given to individuals who are licensed Oklahoma LBHP.

Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position.
