Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for translating demand plans into supply plans. Support demand planning by ensuring strong in-stock and service level through maintaining inventory levels, safety stock parameters, and lead times for component or finished good inventory. Responsible for working with internal and external partners to translate supply plan into purchase order/work order workload.

Duties and Tasks
Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment, analysis, and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Serves as a liaison with internal and/or external contacts. Work requires meeting performance deadlines and being exact or highly accurate; requires face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams and working with others in a group or team.

Requirements
Computer Skills:
The ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internal software programs), with advanced presentation skills and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets. Prior experience with ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.) is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred. (Supply Chain or Business preferred). 2 years’ experience in Sourcing, Production and Material Planning. CPDW (Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing) is a plus, but not required.
