Job Description: Demand Planner has the responsibility for oversight of the manufacturing production of inventory. This position will maintain the processes of Inbound and Outbound logistics, as well as for production-related forecasting, scheduling, and planning. The position will aid the leadership team to endsure order fulfillment and the achievement of company goals.
Reports to: Director Of Purchasing
Key Responsibilities: 

• Establish and actively monitor analytical and key preformance indicators to benchmark planning and logistics preformance, and to identify opportunities for improvement within manafacturing process.
• Support, and improve operations planning processes to better optiize product flow and inventory placement asross the supply chain, in support of stratigic business goals.
• Assist in leading logisitics operations, including outbound and inbound freight and third-party warehouse utilization. Develop and implement logisitcs stratigies and processes.
• Collaberate with the purchasing and production teams domestically and overseas to ensure operations activities are adequately planned and scheduled and omplement improvements were possible.
• Coordinate the development of processes using existing and future business systems to improve and maintain effciency in logistice and planning purposesses.
• Able to maximize the purchased goods within a shipping container to effectively control costs.
• Manage the inventory planning, shipping and delivery cycle.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
• Effective analysis/problem solving/desicion-making skills.
• Proficient wiht ERP systems and Sage.
• Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• Three years of purchasing or inventory management experience prefered but not required within a manafacturing field.
