Job Title: Materials Planner
Department: Materials
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
SUMMARY: The purpose of this job is to satisfy internal and external customer requirements by assisting the human resource department and administrative tasks according to Customer, YEN Group and the quality management system standards required (ISO 9001 standards).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers as well as the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Should be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions written, oral, diagrams or schedule form.
