Materials Planner

Job Summary:

Works under the direction and guidance of the Materials Planning Lead and is responsible for all Post Fab order planning and scheduling within the Lowell FAB. Provides support to Engineering and Operations to launch new products. Responsible for processing and delivering completed products to stock. Performs monthly cycle counts on multiple inventories and works with the team to ensure accuracy of inventories. Communicates with the planning teams throughout the business providing updated Projected Ship Dates for Post Fab orders. Familiar with a variety of the organizational concepts, practices, and procedures, and will perform ad hoc activities as needed. Candidate has a thorough understanding of supply chain, material planning and production control.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate daily SAP report of all new Post FAB orders. Release work orders, issue material and start all orders in the Post Fab.
• Process and deliver completed orders to stock each morning.
• Run Post-Fab completions report and prepare material to go to stock
• Perform monthly cycle counts on multiple inventories.
• Generate and maintain accurate Customer OTD (on time delivery) and Projected Ship Dates for Post Fab orders in our EYELIT MES System.
• Communicate Projected Ship Dates for Post Fab orders with the planning teams.
• Maintain master data where needed.    
• Assist in documenting and improving current procedures and systems
• Complete ad hoc tasks as needed
• Cross train to support other functions as needed

• Experience with planning and inventory management in the manufacturing industry

• Working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within SAP ERP system.

• Take initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience in Material Handling/Inventory Management.
• Semiconductor background strongly preferred.
• Professional experience with SAP ERP.
• Proficient computer skills and able to work with multiple systems
• Deep understanding of Excel; Pivot tables, advanced functions, macros, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Due to ITAR restrictions must be US permanent resident or US citizen.
