Territory Sales Manager – Material Handling Equipment
Established material handling dealer seeking Territory Sales Managers for our allied division and our forklift division of material handling equipment — reputable lines such as Komatsu, Taylor-Dunn industrial vehicles, JLG aerial lifts, Interlake-Mecalux pallet storage rack, Roach conveyor, and Southworth lift tables. Our prospects and customers are distribution centers and manufacturing facilities.

• Significant experience in cold calling and prospecting.
• Industrial Engineering background helpful.
• Entrepreneurial, confident, "winning" attitude.
• Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without supervision; while at the same time willing and able to communicate regularly with management about goal progress, new business opportunities, etc.
• Must be an aggressive "hunter" with a strong desire to succeed
• Experience managing an assigned geographic sales area and line of products to grow existing and new customer business as well as grow products' market share.
• Ability to close sales through a consultative sales process.
• Strong working knowledge and appreciation of CRM program to manage territory.
• Strong business acumen — understanding basic financial principles.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Creative problem solving - we have been doing it for 54 years!
• Professional appearance, high energy, strong work ethic and moral character.

Our compensation structure is among the best with an initial option of base plus commission. Sales persons are provided with a company vehicle, laptop and cell phone. Major medical benefits and 401k program available. No overnight travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
