Materials Management Supervisor supervises daily operations and planning to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations. Uses material requirement plans to ensure the required flow of materials is maintained. Being a Materials Management Supervisor coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations and staffing to enable workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks. Additionally, Materials Management Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Materials Management Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Materials Management Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary:
Assists in the data collection, verification, and reporting of inventory related information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Verifies and reports on inventory related information.
2. Investigates and reports on materials variances to determine root cause.
3. Performs and reports on physical inventory and cycle counting.
4. Prepares required inventory reports and updates for Project Managers
5. Performs customer physicals as required by customer or customer defined auditor.
6. Processes C of D's, verifying quantities on C of D paperwork match physical quantities, as well as verifying disposition method for destruction.
7. Weekly monitoring of supply rack inventory and replenishment orders placed as needed.
8. Fills out and maintains inventory adjustment forms for all transfers and adjustments. On form, identifies root cause for issue and responsible parties, if applicable.
9. Maneuver a forklift (either a standard electric "sit down" fork truck or a double reach "stand up" material handling truck), electric pallet jack, and other material handling equipment expediently, skillfully, and safely while transporting full or partial pallet loads of material throughout the plant, and into/out of rack fixtures.
10. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
11. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.
- Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
- High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
