Candidate will be hired to fill a temporary assignment; candidates should expect to work this position for six to ten weeks.

The Materials Handler will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials to and from point of use by forklift or vehicle. Additionally, they will need to inspect product loads for accuracy, ensuring product is labeled accordingly.

Position Requirements:

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a
  supervisor
• Operate a forklift in accordance with the forklift operating manual and certification
• Operate a company vehicle in accordance with established traffic and transportation procedures and
  laws
• Properly load and unload trailers of materials and finished goods to meet production demands
• Efficiently move materials to and from point of use; ensuring product quality is maintained and
  stocked accordingly
• Responsible for accurate takeaway or replacement of Kanban racks and empty racks
• Ensure product is properly labeled with Part Number, Name, and Quantity; rotate stock as needed
• Communicate effectively with all departments and Supervisors/Leads
• Receive material deliveries, verify items and quantities to PO, acquire proper paperwork
• Inspect and maintain company vehicle supplies and equipment; Maintain Maintenance Log and report
  any concerns

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of one year of forklift operator experience
• One or more years of warehouse experience preferred
