Summary – Job Responsibilities – Activities:

This role will provide the accurate receipt and shipment of materials and goods, execute stock room inventory operations, and have responsibility for maintaining accurate materials and finished goods.

Functions:

• Effective organization, time management, attention to detail, persistent follow-through, and problem-solving skills
• Maintain neat, organized Shipping, Receiving, and Stockroom areas.
• Receive and verify package contents against purchase orders & notify end users of material received when appropriate.
• Verify and transact purchase order and inter-company into the Oracle ERP application and match paperwork.
• Prepares finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Assist in resolving P0 issues
• With support of AMSC Ayer shipping department, arrange both international and domestic shipments, as well as maintain shipping records.
• Manage precious metal and scrap metal reclaim activity.
• Move and process materials, performing accurate inventory transactions in Oracle. Label material clearly.
• Perform shop order kitting and related transactions
• Cycle Counting
• Prior knowledge of how to use warehouse equipment (forklift & pallet jack)
• Any other duties required as assigned.

Education – Experience:

• High School diploma
• Minimum of three years Shipping/Receiving and Stockroom experience required.
• Forklift Certified a plus
• Purchasing and Production Control experience a plus.

Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities and Training Needs:

• Job requires ability to lift minimum of 35 pounds
• Perform data entry and filing.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Oracle ERP System
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows and MS-Office applications such as Word, Excel a plus.
• Stand a walk for up to 7-8 hours per day
• Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols.
