JW Hicks is a growing Northern Indiana based manufacturing company looking to add a Quality Engineer/Process Improvement Manager to our team in Knox, IN. The primary function of the Quality Engineer is to utilize quality data to control and enhance critical processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze quality data from Production systems and testing
• Perform data analysis for process control, capability studies, and overall process improvement
• Respond to data trends and anomalies, ensuring process control
• Assist with management of the Quality Management System
• Maintain Company ISO certification
• Engage in the Corrective Action process
• Establish appropriate quality measurements
• Address quality issues with appropriate parties
• Perform other duties as required by Management

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics - Required
• 3 years experience in Quality Control in an ISO environment
• Strong interpersonal skills – communication, teamwork
• Advanced understanding of statistics
• Well-versed in Statistical Process Control
• Ability to use computer software to analyze data and produce reports
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing
• Ability and willingness to learn

Incumbents in this position are required to demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in job focused Safety Concepts and Procedures, Computer Use, Quality Standards, Process Operations, Analyses, Technical and Maintenance Skills, and Administrative Procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
