Materials Control Manager manages daily operations and planning to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations. Uses material requirement plans to ensure the required flow of materials is maintained. Being a Materials Control Manager coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to improve operational efficiencies and workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Position Summary:
The primary function of this position is to price for bidding, all types of heavy/highway construction projects for public and private sector bids. This person will be responsible for quantity takeoff, pricing, completing bid forms, writing proposals, generating project budgets and other duties as assigned by the Construction Manager. Will also be responsible for and will be held accountable for the timely completion of projects, ensuring they are completed in strict accordance with plans and specifications.

Work Conditions
Office setting with controlled temperature and minimal noise. Incumbent must be able to sit for extended periods of time and tolerate working at a computer for the majority of their work duties. When visiting job site candidate must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), standing, and walking.
