Summary of Position
The Materials Manager is responsible for all planning, purchasing, coordinating, and controlling of raw materials, finished goods and supplies based on customer needs. This position will effectively lead and collaborate to achieve key strategic goals and objectives including, but not limited to: customer fill-rates and on-time shipments, inventory turns and level targets, cycle count accuracy goals, and supplier on-time, in-full targets. In addition, this position is a vital enabler of lean and continuous improvement within the operation.
