The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality control plan as required and is responsible for the overall quality control for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

The duties of the QC manager are to manage and implement the QC program. Specific tasks for the CM include but are not limited to the following:

• Attend partnering meetings, QC plan Meetings, Coordination and mutual understanding meetings;
• Conduct QC meetings.
• Perform the three phases of control.
• Perform submittal review and approval.
• Ensure testing is performed and provide QC certifications and documentation required.
• Manage and coordinate the three phases of control and documentation performed by testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel required.
• Responsible for notifying the special inspector of activities that require their review.
• Coordinate the special inspection activities.

Education/Experience:

• 10 years combined experience in the following positions: Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager - Required
• Familiar with USACE Records Management System (RMS) - Required
• USACE CQCM Certificate Required
• At least 5 years of experience as QC Manager - Required
• At least 5 years of Federal experience on USACE/NAVFAC projects - Required
• Familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 - Required
• Experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability - Required
