We are looking for a Sr. Materials Coordinator in Moorpark, CA

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Materials Coordinator responsibilities will include, but are not limited too:

• Process initiated change controls as required.  This includes setting up or revising Bills of Materials within the ERP system, reviewing all required documents
  • Follow-up with various departments
  • Routing change controls for review and signatures.
• Verify within ERP system that all raw materials and components are in-house to identify whether a customer order is fully supported and can be sent over to the Sr. Planner for scheduling
  • Collaborate as needed with the Purchasing and Account Management teams to get updates on raw material and component deliveries
• Log, route, and process disposable authorizations (DA’s) requests to completion.
  • Maintain disposal log
  • Follow-up on status of DA’s
  • Process to warehouse for disposal
  • Data entry to relieve inventory
• Process sequential lot code documentation from Production as needed.
  • Enter information on excel templates and maintain logs
  • Provide documentation to Brand customers as requested
• Assist Sr. Planner with closing of work orders
  • Verify labor hours, machine hours and material usage
• Update monthly variance reports with closed work order information
• Monitor and maintain item master description in the ERP system by utilizing various system reports and tracking results
• Review open work order reports on a routine basis and reconcile and close as needed
• Review plan work order quantities vs. open sales orders quantities and reconcile any variances
• Assist Planning Manager and Sr. Planner with other projects as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to optimize materials management and reduce waste

QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or related roles, with 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and demand forecasting.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and advanced planning tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
