Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
Bilingual: English/Spanish is highly desired.
Pay: Ranges from $70,000-$85,000
Travel to other business locations on occasion.
This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Performance Management:
- Administer performance appraisal processes and guide supervisors and employees.
- Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
- HR Compliance:
- Stay informed about labor laws and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with open enrollment and new hire benefit enrollment.
- Assist employees in contacting the benefits team on in-depth inquiries.
- Training and Development:
- Support employee development initiatives and career growth opportunities.
- Employee Engagement:
- Plan and organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative work culture.
- HR Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
