Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Material Coordinator to join our residential modular manufacturer team. The Material Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of material flow, including procurement, production, and logistics including receiving
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source new suppliers and evaluate vendor performance
- Monitor and analyze material usage trends to forecast future demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in material handling and storage

-Experience in wood frame estimating and construction materials purchasing

-Interpreting blueprints and calculating take-offs

-Modular experience a plus

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in material coordination or a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks
- Knowledge of procurement management principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
