Design Specialist

Dayta is looking for a talented and versatile Design Specialist to join our innovative team. This role is a unique opportunity to become a key player in a dynamic, pod-based work environment. A pod at Dayta is a collaborative team consisting of an account manager, project managers, and a design specialist, all dedicated to a specific group of clients. As the design expert and lead designer for your pod's clients, you will handle a diverse array of projects.

As a Design Specialist, you will be directly influencing and executing a variety of creative projects ranging from logo design and branding to comprehensive digital campaigns. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a varied and dynamic environment, enjoys working with different clients across various industries, and is passionate about delivering design solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations. This position demands a blend of creativity, technical design skills, and excellent communication abilities, ensuring that all client briefs are met with high-quality, innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead designer within your pod, working closely with account and project managers, to execute exceptional design services on projects including logo creation, brand collateral (brochures, postcards), digital ad graphics, and web design (landing pages, full websites).
• Develop and execute design concepts that effectively communicate client messages and meet their branding objectives.
• Work with a variety of clients across multiple industries, adapting your design approach to suit different brand guidelines and design briefs.
• Collaborate with your pod team to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow, from concept to completion.
• Continually update and refine your design skills to stay ahead of industry trends and client needs.

• Possesses a strong portfolio showcasing a range of print and digital graphic design skills and creative thinking.
• Enjoys the challenge of working with diverse clients and can adapt to various design briefs.
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment and is comfortable taking the lead on creative projects.
• Is able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Has excellent communication skills, both for internal collaboration and for understanding and interpreting client needs.
• Is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a graphic design role producing print and web designs. 
• Proficiency in the latest design software and technologies.
• A deep understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in both print and digital media.
