Marketing Manager manages the projects and execution of marketing objectives, strategies, programs, and policies for all products and services for the organization. Translates the marketing vision into specific projects, action plans, and tactics. Being a Marketing Manager oversees critical marketing functions to ensure the information and support for programs are effectively delivered. Establishes robust data streams and analytical processes to track and Identify changes in customers, competitors, and business climate and enable responsive marketing activities. Additionally, Marketing Manager develops effective marketing teams and scalable processes to execute short-term and long-term marketing plans. Manages vendor selection, relationships, and budgets. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Marketing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary:

    The business development manager prospects for, sells, and closes new business opportunities related to company products and services.


    Essential Functions:

    • Outbound prospecting of potential customers via phone, email, virtual, and in-person meetings
    • Nurturing leads and development of marketing campaigns
    • Assist in developing and executing event-based marketing campaigns
    • Account Management
    • Sales Opportunity identification, discovery, & qualification
    • Coordination of solution presentations and demonstrations
    • The ability to articulate GraVoc’s strengths and value-added services to customers
    • The ability to understand and articulate various practice’s service offerings i.e., Creative Technology, Information Security, Information Technology, and Software Solutions
    • The ability to understand and articulate various solution offerings i.e., Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Remote Monitoring and Maintenance, Anti-Virus, and associated/affiliated Independent Software Vendor products 
    • An understanding of basic computing environments and technologies i.e. LAN, WAN, Client-Server, Cloud, Azure, AWS, Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VDI, Office 365, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Internet connectivity, etc.
    • Business acumen capable of understand all of the aforementioned and applying that knowledge to solve specific business-related problems and issues for a given customer’s use-case scenario
    • Quote, Statement of Work, Change Order authoring and delivery
    • Collaboration with service delivery teams to create estimates of effort for proposed services
    • Elicit, triage, and respond to customer feedback and issues
    • Billing and Collections
    • Internal (GraVoc) and external (Customer) communications and issues resolution in a consistent, timely, and professional manner
    • Contractual agreements review and negotiation, e.g. price, legal terms, project details, scope, and timing
    • Identification and allocation of pre-sales resources
    • Identification of upsell/cross-sell opportunities to existing customer base
    • Understanding of complex B2B sales processes and influences on decision makers and their motivation(s) to make purchase decisions 
    • Referral partner identification, relationship development, and management
    • Ability to attend professional events and represent GraVoc e.g., Chamber of Commerce(s), Professional Networking, Industry and Trade-show centric events

    Requirements

    Essential Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or a related discipline preferred.
    • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (ERP, IT, Info-Sec, Software Development) in an outbound Sales Development or Individual Contributor role.
