Marketing Project Manager

We are looking for someone with a passion for content curation, social media marketing, and storytelling, as well as experience in influencer marketing. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong teamwork skills.

    Wage: $55,000 - $65,000/yr DOE

    This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives across digital and print channels. They are responsible for the production, review, maintenance, and analysis of these efforts to ensure optimum branding and positioning. This role is cross-functional, highly collaborative, and will require timely and effective communication with team members throughout the organization.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional care and genuine guest service, always upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Marketing Project Management (80%) - They will manage and execute multi-channel marketing projects to ensure optimum branding and positioning within digital and print market segments in alignment with Company’s stated goals and initiatives. These projects include, but are not limited to, email campaign development, paid and organic social efforts, photo shoots, website updates, and the generation and distribution of press releases. When necessary, this role will also liaise between internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure company needs are met.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • The production and distribution of traditional marketing collateral; fielding requests and gathering requirements, creating mockups, and managing the day-to-day relationship with agencies and internal creative teams to help verify that all projects are delivered on time and on strategy, and support business goals.

    • End-to-end creation, management, and implementation of paid social ad campaigns

    • Analyze project metrics and trends to evaluate overall success.

    • Drafting and distributing press releases, media alerts and other briefs that clearly communicate corporate news for publication and media exposure.

    • Creating and maintaining media lists for press releases.

    • Copywriting and proofreading

    • Coordinating scheduled photo or video shoots on property and working with contracted photographers/videographers, as well as internal teams and stakeholders to ensure preparedness.

    • Contribute to development of consistent project management processes and measures as we grow.

    Analytics/Reporting (5%) Maintain tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities to review and report on metrics Google Analytics, TripAdvisor, Hootsuite, and social platforms to surface issues and make recommendations for performance improvement.

    Reputation Management (5%):?They will be responsible for monitoring guest reviews for all properties and assisting with reporting and responses for escalated issues. Will assist in providing quarterly reporting to be shared with upper management, including the General Managers and Regional Managers to surface potential issues and opportunities. Distributes post-stay communications on a biweekly schedule.

    Asset Management (5%): Keep image and logo libraries current. Manage storage of past campaign literature and materials.

    Other: (5%) Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Previous marketing experience required. [4 years minimum preferred]

    • Project management or related experience required [does not have to be certified]

    • Four-year college degree in marketing, public relations, or other related field preferred

    • Hootsuite Ads, Google Ads, and Google Analytics experience preferred

    • Experience with mockup up tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrated, or Photoshop preferred

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit

    • Must have valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards

    • Must have strong computer skills?

    • Must have excellent organization and time management skills

    • Must be able to travel

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Long hours sometimes required, including nights, evenings and weekends

    • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally:

    • Must be able to work indoors or outside;

    • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day;

    • Must be able to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance;

    • Must be able to bend, squat crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;

    • While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);

    • Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
