Our Opportunity

GPJ is looking for a Supervision Manager to join our team in our Las Vegas, NV facility.

As the Supervision Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation of a GPJ team of Installation & Dismantle (I&D) Supervisors. You will schedule and oversee the GPJ Supervisors on all assigned jobs. You will handle staffing of the GPJ Supervisory team and management of the overall GPJ Supervisor workforce.

Establishing a best in class regenerative GPJ Supervision program will be key.

What You'll Do

• Assign supervisors appropriately to GPJ Client needs.
• Work closely with local General Foreman, communicate with Account Teams, Integrated Production and Project Management to determine and keep current best practices for communications between departments.
• Identify, communicate and train on I&D challenges, utilization of SuMA tools for communication, travel conduct and GPJ quality control.
• Develop and manage a robust Supervision program, growing this GPJ Offering across the organization
• Review any areas of recurring challenge with Fabrication management for potential process updates and improvements.
• Ensure time is posted daily by your team and posted to the appropriate projects.
• Approve GPJ Supervision time for payroll within STE or follow the temp time protocol when necessary.
• Provide guidance and direction as well as continuing education to the supervisor team as needed with regards to best production practices.
• Identify areas or methods that could be improved in the supervisor workflow.
• Define and set expectations for installation quality as necessary.
• Understand and promote GPJ communication and reporting systems technologies. Work within these programs to be a resource for training and team ownership.
• Monitor and train with regards to safety requirements for the GPJ supervision team.
• Work well in a deadline-driven and frequently stressful environment.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma and a minimum of (10) years of industry related experience.
• An ability to communicate clearly in a timely fashion verbally and through written text.
• Proficient in Google Docs, GMail, SuMA and STE.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or other Project Management/productivity software.
• Significant experience or knowledge of the exhibit industry, specifically regarding field installations and dismantle efforts.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Estimated travel for this position is around 10% annually
• Note: Since this is a newly developed position, the estimated travel time for this position through development is around 25%
